不可視彫像

この作品は、美術鑑賞の常識を覆す “展示物の無い” 展示。

体験者が作品の置かれていない展示台に向かって懐中電灯の光を向けると、在るはずのない作品の「影」が現れます。

懐中電灯を持って近づいたり離れたり、様々な角度から光を当てることで影も形を変え、しだいに存在しないはずの作品がそこに在るかのような ”存在感” を感じ始めます。

そんな “不可視彫像” を体験者自身が行動して探し、形を想像しながら鑑賞する新しいメディアインスタレーション。

テクノロジーによって存在しない物の存在感を与えられたとき、脳はどのように解釈するのか。現実と仮想現実（VR）の境界を模索する作品です。

This work is an exhibitionthat overturns the common sense of art appreciation. When the user directs the light of the flashlight towards the exhibition stand where the work is not placed, a shadow of the work that can not be found appears. By approaching and moving away with a flashlight, and shining light from various angles, the shadow changes its shape, and you begin to feel the presence of a work that should not exist. A new media installation in which the experiencers themselves search for such “invisible statues” by themselves and admire the shapes while appreciating them. How does the brain interpret when technology gives the presence of something that doesn’t exist? This is a work that explores the boundary between reality and virtual reality.
