作品详情
When you look up at the sky in Tokyo, there are times when skyscrapers feel like rulers for measuring the height of the sky.
If there were no earthquakes or disasters, how tall would people build buildings? Maybe the day will come when we can reach outer space.
On the other hand, when I look at construction sites, people seem to be evolving, and I think they haven't evolved.
The way a vertical core is made and blocks are piled up on it makes me feel like I'm watching plain weave, a woven fabric that has been around for a long time.
Even if it is possible to build high-rise buildings with better designs than in the past, the fundamental part of human behavior may not change.

I spent my childhood in Bangkok, Thailand.

I creates prints and installation works with a focus on painting.
“Maybe.”
This word not only inspires me to create, but is also an ideal.
Is the world you see real?
This may be it, and this may have been the case. I believe this ambiguity will change the way we look at the world.
There are various people in the world. Each region has different cultures, customs, and stories.
I am doing research to about them.
I create works based on various possibilities obtained through research and hypotheses about the current situation.
People become free through the power of their own values and images, not the values determined by someone else.
I believe that art is a discipline that pursues possibilities that emerge from ambiguity.
I want to create images of us humans that can be seen through ambiguous images.
