Artist statement
The theme of this exhibition is "humanity." Humanity is a quality that people are born with. It is a word that refers to humanness.
The motif of this work is not humans, but creatures that are related to humans. I created this work while thinking about humanity, focusing on creatures that we are related to as pets, ornamental animals, food, and daily necessities, such as dogs, cows, and plants.
The exhibition title "Noten"is a word that refers to the outdoors. Just as the concept of the outdoors exists because of the existence of roofs, I would like to create an exhibition that delves into the concepts of wildness and livestock that were born because of the presence of humans.
