Previously, at the corner of a nearby flower farm site, I pulled out flowers that were no longer commercialized,
Seeing the mountains piled up, I was strongly intrigued.
There are still many bright colors in the mountains of plants collected in one place,
The tangled stems and roots are fresh, with water vapor and light in the air
It felt like they were still breathing.
The boundary between life and death of plants is very vague, coming and going, and sometimes mixed. Some of them die, but at the same time, some are certainly alive.
Through the appearance of plants, I draw pictures while thinking about their mixability and the differences in how they are perceived.

I mainly paint in oil. One day, I pulled out flowers that were no longer commercialized in a corner of the flower farm site and saw them piled up in piles, and I felt like they were still breathing. Using this experience as a trigger, I create paintings while thinking about the mixture of life and death through the appearance of plants and the gap between views of life and death with others.
