Since beginning his outdoor collages in Montreal in 2015, CSRK has shared his unique worldview while also contributing to the evolving identity of urban spaces. His iconic characters remain proudly displayed as part of the cityscapes of multiple cities through north America and Europe.
Through his studio work, CSRK has given his street art a new legitimacy, evolving it into a more enduring approach. Free from the time constraints of outdoor creation, he now uses long-lasting materials such as paint, inks and spray paint. By selecting supports like wooden panels or road signs, elements closely related to the urban environment, he fosters a dialogue between art and the city
His outdoor collages are inherently ephemeral, gradually deteriorating over fime due to external factors.
This impermanence makes his work unique, encouraging the viewer to appreciate the piece "in that very moment."
Accessible to everyone, his street collages, invite reflection on the fragility and transience of life, while blending humor, lightness, and depth.
