Work Details
液体のわずかな振幅と共に、次々と終わりなく湧き出る「Foam」。小さな泡は、次第に寄り集まって液面を覆い尽くし、泡の集合体(フォーム)として、有機的な構造を自律的に形成する。立ち上がったボリュームは、飽和し、膨らみ続け、時に萎えて地面に落ちる。

InFoam, small cells bubble up ceaselessly with the slight oscillations of a liquid and gather together, covering the liquid as they
spontaneously form an organically structured conglomeration of cells. As the risen volumes of foam link together and reach saturation,
they continue to swell, occasionally losing vitality and spreading out over the ground.

彫刻家／SANDWICH Inc.主宰
1975年生まれ。彫刻家 / Sandwich Inc.主宰 / 京都芸術大学教授。京都を拠点に活動。 2003年京都市立芸術大学大学院美術研究科博士課程彫刻専攻修了。 セル（細胞・粒）という概念を機軸として、彫刻の定義を柔軟に解釈し、鑑賞者に素材の物性がひらかれてくるような知覚体験を生み出してきた。 近年では、アートパビリオン「洸庭」など、建築のプロジェクトも手がける。 2015年以降、ベルギーの振付家/ダンサーのダミアン・ジャレとの協働によるパフォーマンス作品「VESSEL」を国内外で公演中。 2018年にフランス・ルーヴル美術館ピラミッド内にて彫刻作品 “Throne” を特別展示。
