劉振祥（1963～ ）はベテラン写真家であり、20歳の時に初の個展を開催し、『時報新聞週刊』や自立報系で勤務した経歴を持つ。1987年から舞台芸術の記録撮影を始め、映画のスチール撮影も手がけてきた。個展や国内外でのグループ展を数多く開催し、作品は美術館に収蔵されている。メディア勤務を経て写真スタジオを設立し、報道写真や舞台芸術の撮影に専心している。

Liu Chen-hsiang (1963– ) is a veteran photographer who held his first solo exhibition at the age of 20 and previously worked for China Times Weekly and the Independence Evening Post group. Since 1987, he has been documenting performing arts and has also served as a still photographer for films. He has held numerous solo and group exhibitions both domestically and internationally, with his works collected by art museums. After his career in the media, he established a photography studio, dedicating himself to reportage and performing arts photography.

劉振祥（1963～ ）資深攝影工作者，20歲時舉辦首次個展，曾在《時報新聞週刊》、自立報系任職。1987年開始拍攝紀錄表演藝術，也曾為電影拍攝劇照。多次舉辦個展及海內外聯展，作品亦獲美術館典藏。曾任職於媒體，後開設攝影工作室，孜孜於拍攝報導、表演藝術，長期與國內各表演團體合作。

著書には『台湾有影』『前後：劉振祥の雲門イメージ・ナラティブ』『満嘴魚刺』『大仏‧有抑無』『收藏雲門』『風塵前後』などがある。台北芸術大学／台北科技大学の兼任副教授を務めた。2010年には「呉三連賞芸術賞—写真部門」を受賞し、審査員から「台湾社会と文化の時代的変遷と脈動を記録し、舞踊家の一瞬の美しい動きを見事に捉えた」と評価された。2023年にはスチールフォトグラファーとして台北映画祭「卓越貢献賞」を受賞。

His published works include Taiwan on the Scene, Before and After: Liu Chen-hsiang’s Cloud Gate Image Narrative, A Mouthful of Fishbones, The Great Buddha—Being or Non-being, Collecting Cloud Gate, and Before and After the Dust. He also served as an adjunct associate professor at Taipei National University of the Arts and National Taipei University of Technology. In 2010, he received the Wu San-Lien Award for the Arts in Photography, with the jury recognizing his works as “witnessing the transformations and pulse of Taiwanese society and culture, while successfully capturing the fleeting beauty of dancers’ movements.” In 2023, he was honored with the Taipei Film Festival’s Award for Outstanding Contribution as a still photographer.

並出版《臺灣有影》、《前後：劉振祥的雲門影像敘事》、《滿嘴魚刺》、《大佛‧有抑無》、《收藏雲門》、《風塵前後》等作品集。並在台北藝術大學 / 台北科技大學兼任副教授，2010年獲「吳三連獎藝術獎—攝影類」獎項，評審肯定其攝影作品「見證臺灣社會與文化的時代變遷與脈動，並成功捕捉舞者瞬間美妙的舞姿動態。」2023年以劇照師身份獲頒台北電影節「卓越貢獻獎」。
