Work Details
It is a work that approaches the acts of “carving” and “engraving” in “carving.”
At first glance, it looks like a painting, but it was created by filling the grooves “carved” by humans and nature with resin and polishing them.
When “engraved” on wood or stone, a new space is created around the object.
The person who “sculpted” that space knows that it is a newly born space, but when viewed from others, it is a space that has existed since the beginning.
I felt that was very strange, and I thought that traces of “sculpture” could be included in the work, and created it.
You can also hang it on the wall to decorate it.

「違和感」をテーマに立体、平面、インスタレーション、ワークショップなど横断的に作品を展開。
個人的な出来事や興味を作品の起点としており、それらにリアクションするように作品を制作している。日々の営みを紡ぐ日記のように、単純な行為の集積によって、作品に世の事象を内包させる。
近年では作品から生まれる端材に着目し、それらをアップサイクルした小作品やアクセサリーの制作や、様々な企業とのコラボレーションやワークショップの企画など活動の幅をひろげている。
