Something like a girl, if a magical girl fails in the middle of her transformation.
My face, arms, clothes, and walking sticks are scattered,
The space around them will surely be ruined by their fragments and stars.
But I think it's not a failure; I think it's a hopeful change.
This is because I wasn't able to become anything, but I want to think that dreaming to become something is beautiful and wonderful in itself.
The pictures I draw are by no means pathetic.
I always want to express the strong power that can only shine because I'm half-hearted.

Artist Interview | Samehoshi
A serial project to ask current artists about their works and the other side of production.
With the theme of “collapse and formation,” we asked Samehoshi, who depicts something like a girl who collapses and regenerates, about the concept of the work and her future goals.
