Artist

Chonnapas Yokyai
✔︎

Born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, Chonnapas Yokyai is an artist currently studying in the Faculty of Fine Arts, majoring in Painting, Sculp- ture, and Printmaking at Silpakorn University. Her works are symbolic and transcendental paintings. Fueled by her interest in everyday life from a femi- nist perspective, her art endeavors to explore the answers to the gender divide with the societal framework she confronts. Through vibrant and surrealistic paintings and subtly veiled figurines, she casts a spell, inviting viewers to interpret and explore through their own personal experiences. Her art portrays a peculiar and twisted scape, inviting people to interpret and explore through their own personal experiences.
