He was born in 1997 in Hyogo prefecture as the older brother of identical twins. Completed the Onomichi City University Graduate School of Fine Arts major in 2022. Currently, he is engaged in production activities in a joint atelier with his twin brother Kihara Kenshiro in Hyogo Prefecture. Kihara is consistently testing the coexistence of opposing elements of abstraction and concretion. They explore a wide variety of spaces where opposites, such as “fact” vs. “fiction,” and “moment” vs. “eternity,” intersect, and attempt to show the existence of regions that cannot be fully expressed in words by attempting to incorporate them into two dimensions.
