Work Details
“Tokyo Tortoise” was created based on the image of the Azabudai Hills area.
I saw on TV that being able to watch Tokyo Tower from Azabudai Hills is a “advantage,” so
It depends on what I imagined. The upper part of the shell has the shape of Tokyo as a motif, which enhances the atmosphere of Tokyo.

*********************
As you can see, this painting using this special technique is a work of layering paint.
First, we mainly use wooden canvases, and then finish the base after repeated layering and drying for the base treatment. After the base has been treated, layers of paint are applied continuously, and waiting time for the paint to dry is also required, so even small works require 1 month. As the size increases, production consumes a large amount of time in proportion to the work time.
Since it is a characteristic semi-three-dimensional color painting, by changing the angle of the lighting, the expression of the work and the shadows created in the work further enhance the work, making it a work that you can enjoy watching without getting tired of looking at it.
The image doesn't convey this three-dimensional effect, so be sure to take a look at the real thing.
