Work Details
Description
Everyday life in a city where chaos and order interweave. It questions the quiet brilliance of life and the universal laws that dwell within it.
My focus is on the scramble crossing in Tokyo.
It is a symbol of a modern city where countless people come and go and energy swirls.
I will “reconstruct” this familiar landscape in monochrome.
The abstract patterns of light and shadow transcend the reality in front of us and reflect the universal laws that lurk there.
The short shadows drawn by the vertical light at noon emphasize the existence of the moment.
The gaps and spaces where people flow while maintaining their own personal space are the individual independence that exists within a group and the laws of the city itself that surround us.
For me, photography isn't just about capturing reality.
It is an exploration that questions the essential beauty hidden in the depths of everyday life, and something universal about human existence, and speaks deeply to the emotions of viewers.
Through this work, I hope to discover the contrasts and invisible laws that exist in my everyday life.
