『Shortbread diary』

I stayed in Edinburgh for three months taking art classes. It is a record of shortbread and British snacks that I ate while looking at books borrowed from the library and books I found in secondhand bookstores. The paintings of the Shortbread and it's packages that went in used the engraving techniques learned in Edinburgh.

『Arctic circle』

"In a very cold winter, I traveled to Sweden, Finland, and Norway. From the start, the plane was canceled due to snow, and delays due to snow continued even in the hard-to-reach Northern Europe. Aurora, the stars in the night sky, forests, endless white landscapes, and special languages that I met there where snow was piled up everywhere. The images I felt there were captured in collages, photos, and prints."

『A walk looking down』

When I walk somewhere, my eyes keep looking down. Fallen flowers and leaves, abandoned objects, lights and shadows cast in mysterious shapes, feathers falling on the sand. At the end of the walk, most things are forgotten, but sometimes there are things that I remember for a long time. A walking diary full of strange and beautiful things I came across.

『Spectrum of colors』

A color-themed mini-photograph. It contains stories of various colors that I met in various places. It was inspired by a mini photo collection from the 1920s and 30s found in a vintage shop in Europe.

『Small collecting book』

1, 2 I bought a small notebook from a store in Portugal. I put on the note a candy shell with orange tangerines I picked up on the street. And on the road, in supermarkets, in museums, in forests, in the sea, small, useless, but pretty things were kept collecting and pasting. Scan the note and print it out.
