Work Details
Materials: film, bamboo washi paper
Seawater is channelled into salt pans, where natural evaporation by the sun and wind leads to the formation of salt crystals. Workers then collect the salt using wooden rakes and hand tools, a method that preserves the artisanal quality of the salt.
