"Two measuring instruments, Three views of the box"
The two measuring instruments that visualize the temperature and humidity inside the space numerically are, unexpectedly, displaying different values from one another. At this point, we can consider the following possibilities concerning the temperature and humidity of the space: 1. The measuring instrument on the right is correct. 2. The measuring instrument on the left is correct. 3. The two aforementioned possibilities overlap, like Schrödinger's cat, even though we are physically present inside the space... Through these uncertain measuring instruments, we succeed in existing ambiguously within open possibilities.

Madokoro practice employs methods of observing, verifying, recording, and reporting existence through acts such as counting, taking notes, copying, and pointing. Through these acts, she seeks to demonstrate that even seemingly insignificant and easily overlooked things indeed “exist.” Her works take a diverse range of media and forms, including records such as photographs, texts, and notes, as well as installations that combine these elements.
