Work Details
現前の幻想は、情念から脳に引き起こされた景色だったり、霊性を感じ想像していることかもしれない。一方で思考の可逆は、幻想が真実だった時へ目を引き寄せることとなり得る。『小ヴァン湖』は、描いている半ばから、ハインリヒ・フォン・クライストの情念が空間を覆い、その波動が筆を動かしていた。『対生』は、突然道に現れた森を彷徨う者の「行方」を描いている。一対の銀のスプーンから始まった物語は、一つは破壊されたテントの暗闇で、一つは光が向かう先のテントで、その行方が見つかっている。

Born in Yamagata Prefecture in 1978. Completed a master's degree in Intermedia Art at the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts in 2011. Studied at the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design in Germany from 2011–13. After working in Stuttgart, relocated to Berlin. Returned to Japan in 2022 and is currently based in Yamagata. Interested in existential aesthetics and the coincidence of things across simultaneity and different levels of time.
