空 / Relativity #26

数枚の写真から山を切り抜いて制作したのが「The Origin」であるのに対し、「空 / Relativity」では空を切り抜き、それらをレイヤー状に組み合わせて制作されています。

この作品の中に山そのものの姿を見ることはできませんが、切り抜かれた空間によってその存在が表されています。生命の源を表す山の不在と存在の両方の意味を持つこの作品は、無であり有でもあるという意味で、仏教思想の「空（くう）」の概念を示してもいます。

While "The Origin" was created by cutting out mountains from several photographs, "Sky / Relativity" is created by cutting out the sky and combining them in layers.

The mountains themselves cannot be seen in this work, but their presence is represented by the cut-out spaces. This work, which has the meaning of both the absence and presence of the mountain that represents the source of life, also illustrates the concept of "emptiness" in Buddhist thought, in the sense of being both "nothing" and "something".
