Work Details
分解と再構成がとてつもないスピードで行なわれている星で、私たちがここに「在る」という感覚は水平線のようにあるようで、ないようなものだ。 その中で混じり、破壊され、再生をくりかえす。 ずっと着地しない感覚。 私はカッターや自作の道具を使用し、絵の具を破壊しながらも、画面に盛っていくという行為を行うことにより、その繰り返しのなかにあらわれてくるナニカを絵画空間の中で起こしたいと考えている。
幸も不幸も感じられないどうしようもない垂れ流しの毎日の中で、美術表現は何を引き受けて何をもたらすのか。
『多頭一身の怪物』に動員され続け、欺瞞と嘘が錯綜する現代社会で私たちは何者かになれるんだろうか？
