Work Details
2015年より制作を開始した新シリーズ「ミュージック -MUSIC-」より「音楽」をテーマに制作した作品。
音楽の波形のようなギザギザした形が特徴の「ミュージック」シリーズ。このシリーズは特定の音楽を聴いたときに浮かぶ情景をイメージした色合いで構成されている。下段のギザギザ部分はシルクの刺繍糸を巻き付けるという技法で制作されている。
この作品はグライムス（Grimes）というカナダのミュージシャンのある曲をイメージして制作されている。彼女の澄んだ歌声がポップな曲と混じり合い、非常に不思議な宇宙人っぽい魅力を醸し出している。この作品ではポップな色合いのキラキラした宇宙のイメージを表現している。彼女は私の知らないうちに、いつの間にかイーロン・マスクのパートナーとなり息子を出産して話題になっており、更に宇宙っぽさが増したようである。
From the series “Music” which started in 2015, created with the theme of “music”.
The “Music” series is characterized by a jagged shape that resembles the waveform of music. This series is consists of an image of colors from a scenery that comes to mind when listening to specific music. The jagged part in the lower part is made by the technique of coiling silk embroidery thread.
This artwork is inspired by a song by a Canadian musician named Grimes. Her clear singing voice mixes with pop sound, creating a very mysterious alien-like charm.
This artwork expresses the image of a glittering universe with pop colors.
Though I didn’t know since I started making this artwork, she became a partner of Elon Musk and gave birth to his son, which became a hot topic, and it seems that added more mysterious alien-like charm to her.

Her works, meticulously crafted using threads, aim to faithfully reflect the world around us—including the connections between people, and between people and the world itself.
After majoring in fashion design at Musashino Art University, she worked as a 3D CG creator before becoming a contemporary artist. Soon after her debut, she held her first solo exhibition in Paris and has since been actively exhibiting internationally.
From 2006 to 2013, she lived and worked as an artist in Shanghai.
In recent years, she has challenged herself with experimental creations, continually developing new series of works.
She has exhibited extensively in Tokyo, Shanghai, and throughout Japan, China, Taiwan, Europe, and the United States. She currently resides in Saitama Prefecture.
