Work Details
〈LINE〉シリーズ（2019-）は、都市にあふれるサインの「視認性」に着目し、デザインと彫刻の領域を横断する作品群です。スズメバチやヤドクガエルに見られる警告色のコントラストは、生態学的な認知の仕組みです。色で危険を知らせるという記号性は都市のサインにも応用されています。本作では工事現場の虎テープなどをモチーフに、人工的なデザインと自然の認知構造を重ね合わせ、見ることの原理そのものを問い直しています。
