「商店街を歩いていたら、突然なにかがもくもくと立ち上がっていて、見るとくぼみがあり、そこにしばし体を投げだして休憩できるといいなと考えた」と日高は語ります。商店街の風景に溶け込むような透明感のあるベンチは、いつもの風景の中にぼんやり浮かび、あるようでないような、まるで空気のような存在感で新しい風景をつくり出しています。
