This series consists of 60 vertical and horizontal rows with a total of 3600 pixels, and was founded on the premise of the comprehensiveness of countless images that exist on the internet. The fact that the work sizes are unified into a square also strongly evokes an environment where images are uniformly arranged and grasped as a list, that is, an internet-like display format.

By specifying the screen size and number of pixels in advance, the image to be drawn is placed on the same horizon as a “display format” before the subject or narrative. Under this format, images referring to art-historical paintings, parts of images ubiquitous on the internet, or abstract images without a specific reference destination are all treated under the same conditions.

The way this work is lined up on the wall creates a visual experience as if the browser screen appeared in a real space. More than the content of the image, what is being questioned here is the “viewing situation” itself, which is how we view it under what conditions.
