自然や生き物の息遣いを追い求め「命の存在」を描く
窓を開けた瞬間や、帰り道に見た夕日、雨上がり。世界は時々私たちに感動をくれる。
その瞬間を描きたいと思った。
はじめは風景を描いていたが、風景から感じる空気や感情を中心に描くようになった。
即興的な線と素材の蓄積は、命の動きと集まりを表し、抽象と具象の間の絵は、見た者の記憶の風景に繋がっている。
私たちは一人一人はちっぽけな存在だが多くの命の集まりがこの大きな宇宙を作っている。
直接的に関わらなくとも、この世に存在する命によって今この瞬間がつくられ、自分もその一部なのだ。
全ての風景は命の交わりが織りなす一瞬の奇跡で、二度と同じものはない。そして、その中に自分を見つけたとき、世界は美しく見える。
風景を見るということは自分を見つめることかもしれない。
風景を描くということは、あなたを描き、自分を描いているのかもしれない。
自分の存在は（自分は何者なのか、と知るには）
自分と自分の周りの命に目を向けるしか知ることはできないのだと思う。
そしてそれは安心と癒しに繋がる。
作品を見たとき、あなたのどこかに繋がることを願っている。
