本作品は白の持つイメージ、例えば消したい想いや消したい過去などがありますが
それって時間の経過とともに意識しなくなったり、忘れ去ったりします。
常に同じ状態で維持できないからこそ、そのように白く消えて行く儚さってとても愛おしいものだったり、大事にしなきゃいけないものだと思います。
それをこの絵から読み取ってもらえれば、と思い製作いたしました。
無論、これはあくまで読み取り方の一例ですのでこの絵を自由に見て楽しんでもらえたら、と思います。
また同時に絵画というものはさまざまな要素を加算して表現されるメディアですが、その完成された状態から引き算でどんどん差し引いて見える光景もまた実はこれで十分に作品として鑑賞するのに耐えうるのではないか？
という試みをした作品でもあります。

The image “white” has. For example, the past or feeling you want to forget,
does fade away with the time once you stop thinking about it.
The impermanence of those that disappear is so fragile, yet adorable,
and it’s something you have to cherish.
This work of art is aimed to realize importance of those feelings.
Of course that is just one way of seeing it,
so I want everyone you to enjoy the painting as you want.
At the same time, a picture is a media that’s expressed by adding different elements,
but this art work challenges as a art of subtraction.
It’s a new idea to see if what you can see from subtracting elements
from a completed art could be another form of art.
