Face 10 隠しきれない | Can't hide

顔のシリーズ作品。

色の数、基本となる顔の図案を大まかに決め、その時々で感じている自分の気持ちを題材にして描いていった作品です。

今までこの顔シリーズで色んな気持ちを絵にして来ました。

途中からはこうありたいという願望に近いものに変わってきていました。

この作品は、願望のイメージとは違う自分を隠し切るということではなく、弱い自分や、まだ道半ばな自分も認め、少し自由になることも必要な事だと思い描いたものです。

そんな作品なので、今までの顔シリーズのルールからは離れ、色を塗り隠しきらない表現にもなっています。

This artwork series is painted restrict on the basic face design and number of colors. And these were subjects about things felt in my mind day and day.

Until now, I have painted various feelings in this face series.

From the middle, it turned into something close to my hope to be like this.

In this piece, I created with thought it was necessary to admit that I was weak and that I still had a way to go, and to be a little free.

So, I've moved away from the rules of the previous face series, and I'm also expressing without completely cover it of colors.

Orecho=オレチョとは？

本多 孝男による複数の作品シリーズをシンボル化、融合することで誕生したキャラクター。

「オレチョ」は作家の自己を投影した表現者として作品に登場している。名前の由来は"己"を"超"えるより。

The character was born by symbolizing and fusing multiple series of artworks by Takao Honda.

"Orecho" is appeared in artworks as an expresser who projects himself.

The origin of the name comes from "I want always overcome myself". In Japanese mean Ore=myself, cho=overcome.
