顔のシリーズ作品。
色の数、基本となる顔の図案を大まかに決め、その時々で感じている自分の気持ちを題材にして描いていった作品です。
顔シリーズの中で変化をつけた作品。
熱い気持ちを持つと同時に、冷静に落ち着くのも大事だと感じて描いた作品です。
「変化」「変容」という題材は他の作品にも度々登場します。
自分の中に変わりたいという願望が長い期間強くあって、その方法だったり、気持ちの変化、イメージを何かのカタチとして残しておきたいと思って制作に臨んでいる部分もあります。

This artwork series is painted restrict on the basic face design and number of colors. And these were subjects about things felt in my mind day and day.
This artwork was a change in the face series.
I drew this artwork because I felt it was important to have passionate feelings, but also to remain calm and collected.
In my artworks, the subject of "change" and "transformation" often appears in other works.
I've had a strong desire to change for a long time, so I make artworks in order to preserve these methods, changes in feelings, and images in some form.
Orecho=オレチョとは？
本多 孝男による複数の作品シリーズをシンボル化、融合することで誕生したキャラクター。
「オレチョ」は作家の自己を投影した表現者として作品に登場している。名前の由来は"己"を"超"えるより。

The character was born by symbolizing and fusing multiple series of artworks by Takao Honda.
"Orecho" is appeared in artworks as an expresser who projects himself.
The origin of the name comes from "I want always overcome myself". In Japanese mean Ore=myself, cho=overcome.
