閉塞感を感じていた日常を変えたくて「突破」するというイメージで描いた作品。
制作当時ペンキの光沢と隠蔽力、シャープなエッジが気持ちよくて好んで使っていました。
気持ちの上で自分の作品に助けられる事が多々あります。
I drew this artwork with the image of "breaking through" in order to change my daily life, which had been feeling stagnant.
At the time of creation, I liked to use paint because of its gloss, hiding power, and sharp edges.
There are many times when my work helps me in my feelings.
Orecho=オレチョとは？
本多 孝男による複数の作品シリーズをシンボル化、融合することで誕生したキャラクター。
「オレチョ」は作家の自己を投影した表現者として作品に登場している。名前の由来は"己"を"超"えるより。
What is Orecho?
The character was born by symbolizing and fusing multiple series of artworks by Takao Honda.
"Orecho" is appeared in artworks as an expresser who projects himself.
The origin of the name comes from "I want always overcome myself". In Japanese mean Ore=myself, cho=overcome.
