Work Details
「命の存在」をテーマに、世界が私たちにくれる感動を描く
窓を開けた瞬間や、帰り道に見た夕日、雨上がり。
世界は時々私たちに感動をくれる。
その瞬間を描きたいと思った。
はじめは風景を描いていたが、風景から感じる空気や感情を中心に描くようになった。
即興的な線と素材の蓄積は、命の動きと集まりを表し、
抽象と具象の間の絵は、どこかの記憶の風景に繋がっている。
私たちは一人一人はちっぽけな存在だが、多くの命の集まりがこの大きな宇宙を作っている。
直接的に関わらなくとも、この世に存在する命によって今この瞬間がつくられ、自分もその一部なのだ。
全ての風景は命の交わりが織りなす一瞬の奇跡で、二度と同じものはない。
そして、その中に自分を見つけたとき、世界は美しく見える。
風景を見るということは自分を見つめることかもしれない。
風景を描くということは、あなたを描き、自分を描いているのかもしれない。
絵を見たときに、あなたのどこかに繋がることを願って描いている。
