Work Details
Title of work: Big Bang
First, there was darkness.
The total darkness was so cold.
However, the sense of blockage that seemed to last forever began
to breathe through due to something.
The universe, filled with sorrow and loneliness, continues to expand with passion and hope
.
Now let's wipe away our tears.
You've already been sad enough.
Let's start looking.
You already know enough about pain.
Something that I'm sure can keep going even if the day doesn't come when scraps of paper fill your heart, something that satisfies you is
the Big Bang within you.
You are the only person who is the Big Bang.
It's sandwiched between a stoic attitude of living and counterculture, but being able to encounter pictures brought light to the universe.
Regardless of whether a painting sells or not, it is something that can continue even if it sells extremely well. Something that can continue even if it doesn't sell at all.
I think that's my big bang.
I don't force others to walk, stand, or anything, but this is how I live now.
I think this work wanted to somehow convey the joy of being able to live in poverty like this.
Production method: brush, music
There was a reaction to the work, so I will post an image of the recent state 2026/02/25

Artist
Outsider Artist
My name is Takuya-Inoue-Higa.
I usually go by the name Takuya Inoue, but I am also proud of my Okinawan roots and my mother’s maiden name, Higa, which I now use together as my artist name.
I have been diagnosed with ADHD, ASD, and schizophrenia, and I have also experienced bipolar disorder.
I have walked a difficult path in life in my own way, but three years ago, at the age of 36, I encountered the world of painting. Since then, I have been self-taught and continue to create my work to this day.
My artistic style mainly consists of abstract paintings filled with messages such as sorrow, loneliness, pain, passion, philosophy, hope, and love.
I paint almost every day. In particular, I draw inspiration from music, weaving the messages that rise up within me into my paintings as I work.
I hope to continue creating many works and, whenever opportunities arise, to exchange and exhibit new paintings with others.
