In this exhibition “Among Them,” we will be exhibiting mainly the “Group” series, which we have been working on for a long time.

Using fruit and vessels as motifs, it expresses the diversity of “groups” born from differences in color, shape, size, and arrangement, and the uncertainty of the act of “classification.” By becoming aware of these differences and commonalities, I am trying to reassess how we perceive things.

For example, if the color is different even with the same shape, will it be treated as a different entity, or will the meaning change between the inside and outside of the vessel? We aim to be a place to re-recognize that there is no single and clear answer depending on which relationships we focus on, and that multiple situations can be formed simultaneously, and to experience multi-layered perspectives amidst the fluctuations that occur there.
