Work Details

This work bears the same name as the solo exhibition “Casual Great Places” held locally in Kagoshima.

It contains the meaning of “one corner,” “in the middle,” neither “one corner,” nor “in the middle.” Whether it's the city center or the region, whether you're yourself or someone else, whether it's the majority or the minority, everything is equally there, and it's silly and special.

This work is based on a scene I actually saw in Kagoshima.

Plants often seen in Kagoshima may not be found in the Kanto region. A person standing with tropical plants. There is a casually special scene.
