ローツェフェイスという斜面の標高8000メートル弱の場所から撮影した世界最高峰エベレスト。よく見ると、何人もの登山者が小さく写り込んでいます。斜めに切れ込んだ場所を越えた先にエベレストの最終キャンプ、通称「サウスコル」があります。
2013年春のローツェ遠征で撮影された作品。
