この作品は、東洋の床上の静物画として近年制作をしています。
床上の画面全面がモノが存在し得る空間であり、同時に鑑賞者の目は自由に動きます。
これは「絵画内の空間」と「絵画よりこちらの空間」を隔てることなく、「画家と床上のモチーフ」と「絵画内のモチーフと鑑賞者」の関係は同じものとなり、アトリエ内の空間をそのまま持ち運ぶこととなります。
私がいたアトリエの空間自体を、ありのままに感じていただければ幸いです。
※この作品は現在、弘前れんが倉庫美術館「CAFE & RESTAURANT BRICK」壁面に展示を行なっております。
