絵を描くことは、日々の何気ない出来事に目を凝らし、
内側の声に丁寧に耳を澄ませる行為だ。
友達との再会で思い出したフレーズ。
自宅近くの川沿いを散歩して感動した風景。
ジムで泳いでいる最中に体感した無心。
太陽が昇り、日が暮れ、闇が訪れ、朝がまた来る、
ともすると同じように感じられる生活の営み。
でも、昨日と同じ日というのは1日たりともない。
日常のさりげない瞬間の中に、
たくさんのギフトが詰まっている。
絵を描くことは、日常の些細な出来事にこそ、
愛が詰まっていることを思い出させてくれる。
「日々のたね」は何気ない日常の祈りにも似た願いと、
目の前の現実という実りに意識を合わせて描いた作品だ。
