Work Details
書道は3色（紙の色、墨の色、印の朱色）の世界。作品の構想を練る時は、どの色を主役にするか考える。この作品は白を主役にした。白を際立たせるため、墨の色は濃くし、白と黒のコントラストを明確にした。線は細くても強く、かすれも付けて表情を持たせた。大字であっても暴れず沈着し、静かでありながら強さもある、まさに「成熟」した存在を表現した。書体は篆書。
白を強調したく額装も白。作品を赤で縁取り、白、黒、赤のみで完結した。
