Work Details
This work was exhibited at the graduation exhibition at FUCA, the share studio where I stayed for a year in 2012-2013.
The title is simply the word I wanted to say most in this exhibition that "ARIGATO-!(Thank You-!)" this is a word that can be positive just by saying it. And It's also a word to this institution that is graduating.
This work is a 5 pieces of "A", "RI", "GA", "TO", and "-!" × 4 pieces in the middle of production, I created one wall using a total of 20 pieces.
20 pieces of this series of works, the FUCA's logo, and my logo at the time were alternately stuck on the plywood board,
I made it like a Backpanel often seen at press conferences.
There were lots of apologise publicly on Japanese TV, And I was curious about it.
I personally thought I wish I had more appreciation press conferences and more appreciation Stages.
So, I got a hint from the backboard, which is often used at press conferences, and came up with an exhibition of painting in a stage-like at space.
It was a great time during the exhibition.
People who came to see the exhibition also went up to the stage and were taken pictures as part of the work. They did thankfully enjoyed freely on the stage.
I gave a present them instant camera photos.
The background of this work was a gradation of the five colors that I use all the time so that it will look gorgeous when they become walls.
I painted background with thinly colors many times. I like this work's colors that with the atmosphere of a dreaming colors.
This is a GIF animation connected of my 20 works drawn with acrylic paint and some drafts drawn with pencil. This was then projected onto the entrance of the venue.
It managed to looks like "A,RI,GA,TO,-!,"
