Work Details
黒い――明度の低い古着に色を重ねる染色では通常あまり用いられない技法による作品。その表現は、抜染もしくは脱色して色を引いたように見えますが、上から白の色を重ね足した仕事で、躊躇った様子を曲線や膨らみ、今にも破裂してしまう不安、躊躇いが表現されています。その意味を込めて「十六夜」と名付けれています。
