Using human physicality and the accompanying concepts of time and memory as keywords, I create paintings centered primarily on line expression. To emphasize that paintings exist not merely as images but as physical matter, I incorporate diverse textures onto the canvas through materials and techniques. This includes layering multiple coats of thinly diluted paint, embodying the accumulation of time within the creative process itself.

In the Episode series, I process photographs taken in daily life, symbolizing landscapes by imposing contour lines that do not inherently exist in reality. These works are based on photographs reflecting the artist's physicality—sensations and experiences gained from actual visited locations. By cutting out and layering images from different time axes, I visualize the chain reaction that generates new time and narratives. Additionally, I incorporate stylistic elements like comic panels and speech bubbles as devices to engage the viewer's memory and imagination.
