アンタカンタさんは、幼い頃から描き続けている、想像の中のモデル「マリアカンナ」をモチーフ にした油絵を描かれています。独特の力強い輪郭線を強調した「ネオ・クロワゾニスム」というユニークな表現で、抽象と具 象を自由に横断し、見る人の心に「生きる希望」を伝えています。アンタカンタさんの描く空想上のマリアカンナの瞳、ポーズ、絵画の中でのシチュエーションに私達はいつの間にか惹き込まれ、絵画の中で旅をしたり、物語をより豊かに想像させてくれます。

Antakanta is a work based on the themes of “freedom and loneliness,” “life and death,” and “time and space,” and “one scene from a story that cannot be verbalized.” Paintings depicting boys and girls with abstract shapes as motifs evoke a strange, adorable, and worldview. I'm trying to redefine “line,” which is a primitive element of art, as a genealogy of painting history and redefining it as “neo-croismatism.” A challenge that transcends the boundaries between Western painting, Japanese painting, and contemporary graphics. I am continuing to create art works that are not images on a digital device screen, but certainly “exist” there.
