Work Details
「モデルを表現すること」と「自分独自の表現」のギリギリを突き詰めていくことをテーマに制作を行っており、今作はその一旦の集大成となる自画像である。
巨大な画面、大きなタッチ、絵具の厚みにうるさいほどの高彩度な配色...それら全てが画面に大きな迫力を与えている
あえて影の部分にも彩度の高い色を置き、それでもなお影として機能させている。
この色遣いによる画面構成はまさしく自分独自の表現である。
最近はそんな独自の表現を確立しつつある自分がカッコ良く思えて仕方がない。
