Window series
Look out from inside. The clouds became suspicious and it started raining along with the strong wind. The storm went away as quickly as it had come.
This painting depicts a landscape seen from inside.
After the storm, the remaining water droplets on the window glass highlighted the presence of the window. By putting a frame inside the screen, the relationship between inside and outside is expressed.
The outlines of the trees swaying in the wind become blurred one by one. This situation is expressed by symbolized lines and surfaces.

青森県に生まれ、神奈川県で育つ。2007年 女子美術大学大学院美術研究科修士課程美術専攻洋画研究領域修了。 角谷沙奈美 / かくたにさなみ 1982年青森県に生まれ、神奈川県で育つ。2007年女子美術大学大学院美術研究科修士課程美術専攻洋画研究領域修了。日常に潜む普遍性をテーマとし、日々の風景や人々の記憶を手掛かりとした油彩画を制作。忘れ去られてしまうような些細な物事に注目し、絵画にすることでその曖昧な輪郭を浮き立たせ、新たな視点や価値を提示することを試みている。主な個展に、「私の日常、誰かの日々」潺画廊 東京(2013)、「ドラマチックな日々」Gallery Forgotten Dreams 東京(2016)、art is calling_03「旅を続ける」BUKATSUDO GALLERY 横浜(2021)。主なグループ展に、「若手卒業生による絵画展」Joshibi Art Gallery Shanghai 中国上海交通大学 中国(2015)、「SICF18 Winners Exhibition」スパイラルガーデン 東京(2018)、MINA-TO Art Wall 角谷沙奈美MINA-TO 東京(2019)、「Future Mythology Diaries”」（Cité internationale des arts, パリ2019）、木曽ペインティングス Vol.5「千年のすみか/三時の光」（長野県木祖村 薮原宿、2020）など。2018年に第20回女子美パリ賞を受賞、レジデンスアーティストとしてCité internationale des artsにて1年間の滞在制作を行う(2019-2020)。
