Work Details
The work is created based on snapshots taken with a smartphone. Photographs are for him a record of everyday life and proof of existence. Blurry expressions, reminiscent of scenes through frosted glass or curtains, awaken the viewer's memory and enable diverse interpretations. While incorporating the spirituality of Japanese art, it presents a new way of painting with a modern sensibility.
