b. 1994 in Tokyo. Toyama graduated from Musashino Art University in 2017 with a BFA in
metalwork. Recent exhibitions include the seventh Loewe Foundation Craft Prize Exhibition
(Palais de Tokyo, 2024) and the solo exhibition Earth, Metal, Vessel (Ginza Tsutaya Books, 2023).
Past awards include MUFG Special Mention at Forbes Japan 30 Under 30 (2023) and the Next
Generation Award at the 2022 Kogei World Competition in Kanazawa. His works are in the
permanent colection of the Cheongju National Museum (South Korea)and Loewe Foundation
(España).
