Selected for the 2023 Ueno Royal Art Museum Grand Prize Exhibition (first prize candidate) 2023 GEISAI #22 &classic Takano Aya Award They are mainly engaged in production activities based on artwork using cloth and painting works such as oil paintings (or images) with these motifs.
Recently, not only do they draw motifs, but they also create paintings that are a fusion of an image and its object. As a background to this, the soft texture of 'cloth', which I have been influenced by my mother since childhood, my unique sense of material beauty and materials, and interest in images (or things drawn as two dimensions) stand up in three dimensions as three dimensions is deeply rooted in the work. Also, returning to a child's heart, a sense of sublime and closeness that you can't touch even if you want to touch the cat or stuffed animal you own, tactile sensations such as overlapping and touch when soft cloth is piled up, what happened to one's own body, changes in the environment, not only good things, but also negative experiences are unwittingly expressed poetically, and are accumulated in an ideal work image.
