I've had mixed feelings of admiration and jealousy for girls who look good with “cute.” Also, even though I have complexes about my appearance, I have regained my confidence by experiencing plastic surgery. These conflicting feelings and experiences are the source of my art. In modern times, while “lookism,” a prejudice against appearance, is viewed as a problem, I am creating works that present new perspectives and values based on my own changes and experiences.
