We are particular about making sure that almost none of the colors are mixed together and all look beautiful. I want to show various colors at the same time in one jagged edge. I think the way the colors that come out of the tube coexist without mixing colors is like a society where they are independent and maintain balance without completely mixing.

A serial project to ask current artists about their works and the other side of production. This time, we spoke with Miki Takizawa, who expresses centrist thought with “zigzag” motifs in her paintings, about the concept of her work and her particular techniques.
