Previously, at the corner of a nearby flower farm site, I pulled out flowers that were no longer commercialized,

Seeing the mountains piled up, I was strongly intrigued.　

There are still many bright colors in the mountains of plants collected in one place,

The tangled stems and roots are fresh, with water vapor and light in the air

It felt like they were still breathing.

The boundary between life and death of plants is very vague, coming and going, and sometimes mixed. Some of them die, but at the same time, some are certainly alive.

Through the appearance of plants, I draw pictures while thinking about their mixability and the differences in how they are perceived.

In this work, I put large motifs into the screen and drew them while paying attention to the structure of leaf veins, the torn shape of the leaves, and the overlapping of leaves.
