小田佑二
1981 年生まれ、 東京都練馬区出身。雑誌・書籍、web、音楽、ファッションなどのアートワークを手がける他、フェスでのライブペイント、壁画、看板制作など、多方面で活動中。
コンセプト:
「高円寺は日本のインド」というキーワードから、インドを象徴する動物である「象」と「牛」をメインモチーフに選び、日本の伝統色である藍色をベースとした色調で描かれた作品です。十字路の角地に建つビルの形状を踏まえ、両サイドに描かれた「象」と「牛」は振り返るポーズをとり、逆側の壁面にも絵が続いていることを暗示しています。細かく描かれた部分を作る事で、近距離からでも壁画を楽しめるように構成されいています。
Titled DOUBLE TAKE, KMCP#5 was inspired by the quote “Koenji is the India of Japan”. The elephant and cow are symbolic of India, while the use of the color "Ao-Iro" the indigo blue synonymous with traditional Japanese art and craftsmanship is representative of Japan.
Painted with the animals looking back at each other and intricately detailed lines the mural is just as mesmerizing up close as afar.

Oda's work is a composition of detailed lines inspired by the lines of woodcut prints, brilliant colors and playful imagination.Oda has created work of a variety books, magazines, music and fashion agencies. With a focus on public projects such as mural painting, live painting at events and kids workshops. Oda has found a way to share his work with the broader public and art enthusiasts alike.
