Work Details
This Solitary Feather is made up of very simple, yet precise and structured brush strokes, using a negative palette to contrast it's photogram counter-part. It is a beautiful thing to see the sleek lines that make up a feather, and a sad thing to see something that should be a part of a larger whole on its own.
Artist
Bold colour
English artist currently living in Osaka Works with acrylics but sometimes experiments with other mediums Uses bold colour Taking inspiration from music, emotion, nature, and dreams Connor focuses more on the emotion portrayed in art rather than the specific form For him, perfection lies in imperfection Connor tends to work in metaphor rather than trying to replicate natural life; a pomegranate for example may seem to be simply a fruit, but metaphorically speaking, it is passion, with its deep red shiny seeds; what does it mean to see that fruit cut in half?
